Our Tennis Director, Pedro Leon, (USPTR Certified) is a former ATP professional and Davis Cup Member of Cuba. Pedro's background as a player and coach has proven a great asset to our program. He has filled the Tennis calendar with exciting events, including interclub play, which has increased participation in our Tennis program. Pedro's main objective is to enrich the lives of people at Deering Bay by developing their tennis skills, addressing all their equipment needs and fostering the feeling of family within the Deering Bay Tennis community.

Marcos Ortega (USPTR Certified) is a former member of the Cuba National Tennis Team and provides great experience in:

  • Private and Group Instruction
  • Tennis Event Planning
  • Pro-Shop Merchandising
  • Leadership of Deering Bay's After-School Junior Programs
