POLICIES

Late Pick-up: Over 15 minutes after the end of the regular camp day is considered late. Beyond this 15 minutes, we place the camper in After-Care and charge $25 per camper per day for each session of care. We do this in order to make every effort to support and compensate our staff for the time they invest. We need our team to be able to review the day with each other and return refreshed for your campers the next day.

Attendance: We would love to see your camper for the entire week, but we understand circumstances do not always allow for this. In addition to the time and effort our staff puts into planning the activities, certain materials and resources are required in advance to ensure a fun and exciting experience for our campers. For this reason, we will not be able to refund any part of a day if a camper arrives late or must leave early. We will also not be able to prorate any missed days.

FAQs

Q: Will the staff be trained in first aid and CPR?
A: The staff will be trained in first aid and CPR before working with campers.

Q: How many kids do you expect to sign up?
A: We estimate between 12-20 kids per week. We are hoping to revamp the interest in our youth activities and utilize the momentum from this year's activities which are growing rapidly in popularity.

Q: What is the camp's approach to discipline and how do you handle conflicts between campers?
A: We do not allow bullying whatsoever. Every child will be treated equally and given the chance to adjust any misbehavior through team building exercises. Any further discipline needed will be brought to the Camp Director personally, and the campers will be spoken with about the importance of respecting each other. Should any problem escalate beyond this "coaching and counseling", we will meet with the parents. If absolutely necessary, a camper may be asked not to return if he/she cannot behave properly. We do not expect any camper to have to go through this. Our activities are based on respect, safety, confidence and team building. From the start we foster good moral judgment on the part of our campers.

Q: Will the camp be taking field trips?
A: The camp, unfortunately, cannot afford to take field trips.

Q: Will there be instructional swimming and/or will you have free swim?
A: We do not have instructional swimming. Tuesday through Friday the campers will have free time to swim at our Clubhouse pool at the end of the camp day.

Q: May non-members' children/grandchildren come to the camp?
A: Absolutely! Kids love to have fun with their friends, so we invite any of your friends' campers (or your camper's friends) to come to our camp.

Of course if you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us!
