Welcome to the DEERING BAY YACHT AND COUNTRY CLUB Update, on what’s happening at your Club.  I am pleased to report we have all ‘new’ pool furniture and umbrellas to keep you shaded.  Take advantage of and enjoy our beautiful pool area (this has been several years in the making).  We also are moving the 10th Tee Grill to the side of the Club House and re-naming it the “19th Hole” where the menu and fare will be expanded.  We will shade you from the sun with sail canopies and new furniture and a cook-out bar just in time for Summer at Deering Bay……….where Summer Camp begins, Summer Golf Memberships start and a ‘new’ introduction to our ‘paradise in the sun’ begins.  We welcome you to introduce your friends and associates to all that Deering Bay has to offer.  The Summer membership is a way of introducing people and showcasing the Club to their whole family. “New” or not new Members, get more out of your Club.  We can introduce you to new friends and old ones at our Member Mixers, pair you up with golf or tennis partners with your skill sets; we have book clubs, lecture series, dance/exercise classes, workout classes, tennis and golf lessons, special youth programs with introductions to various sports, and best of all we have ‘world class’ entertainment on Saturday evenings with our wildly acclaimed roast beef night.  Throughout the year we throw parties once a month that no one should miss.  Hopefully by our next correspondence I will have more information on our golf course lease and other developments.  Your Directors and Officers, the Management Team and Staff are all working together to make your visit a memorable and enjoyable event.  We value your participation and your interest in making Deering the best Club in the Southeast.  It is yours to enjoy.
